Hi everyone,
I'm a developer who's started dabbling in embedded electronics. While looking for a main board/controller for the project I'm working on, it appeared that either the aduino or netduino was my only real choice. Being a C# developer, I went with the netduino. While looking up a reference on NETMF, I discovered this Gadgeteer concept.
I'm really intriqued by the Hydra and Spider boards. The additional memory + touch screen capability makes it very attractive when compared to the netduino I have and I would really love to switch. My question is:
How would I go about hooking up standard sensors to one of these boards? For instance, the project I'm working on has several of the flat force sensors and a flow control sensor. On the netduino/Audino it's pretty straight forward, you just connect the sensor to the appropriate pin on the board. Would I have to go through the process of creating a module to get these sensors connected, or is there some sort of add on board that I would connect them too?
If anybody has a quick answer or a link to an article that talks about this sort of thing, I'd appreciate it. I browsed through some of the getting started articles, and the other topics on this board, but didn't really see anything that addressed this.
Thanks,
Kevin
