The above contains the code for Gareth and my Facebooth project. The basic aim was to create a gadget that would allow you to take a photo and then add extra facial features. At a later date we intend to add extra features so that it can save and share to social networks however this was the basic project that we presented at Microsoft Research last Monday (30th Jan).

Cool project!  Do you have any pics or videos of the finished project online?


I can't figure out why the URLs aren't being displayed correctly - they show up OK in the editor but not in the post display.  You can get to the URL by copying the portion of the link that is underlined, pasting that into a browser admin bar, then copy the rest of the URL that isn't underlined and combine it with the first part.

It looks like whatever code in the forum software that parses and/or builds the URLs is choking on the ! character in the Skydrive URL. An interim solution might be to recommend that folks use a URL shortener like bitly.


Alas, a quick search of the YAF support forum doesn't return any results relating to Skydrive, so perhaps it's not a known issue.
