I have included in a port support for a removable SD Card and file system.  An issue I have is when using MFDeploy Erase function that I get an error "Unable to erase device" that indicates the Erase was attempted on the memory range which is where the file system resides.  Is there something that needs set to prevent this from occurring?  When I get the listing from the Flash sector map using MF Deploy the file system is shown.  I set the BlockStorageDevice as a removable device in config.

The MFDeploy error during erase is not a big problem, but if I could prevent it easily, I would.  But this error might be an indicator I did something wrong in the port of the SD card and file system.

Thanks for any input on this issue.

It could be that MFDeploy simply times out. Erasing every block of an SD card can take some time. Is the device responsive after the erase fails? If not it probably is still erasing. The erase command times out after 10 seconds and is unfortunately not configurable.

Thanks,
Zach
